Hi, I’m Kiara Rafael.

A Somatic Practitioner, Coach, and Space-Holder for humans that are ready to stop fighting with their bodies and start creating a home within them.

I know what it’s like to feel stuck in loops of self-doubt, anxiety, body shame, and trauma responses that just won’t let go—no matter how much you know things should feel different. That’s why I’ve dedicated my life’s work to supporting people like you in creating a softer, more honest relationship with your body, your emotions, and your inner truth.

My approach is grounded in Somatic Psychotherapy (I proudly hold a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling – Somatic Psychotherapy focus from Naropa University), along with years of experience in the mental health field working with women and teens navigating trauma, identity, self-worth, and body disconnection. I’m also a certified Breathwork Facilitator and Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, which allows me to guide you through healing that doesn’t just live in your head—it lives in your nervous system, your breath, your body.

In our work together, we’ll move gently but bravely. Whether we’re using movement, breath, reflection, or nervous system support tools, everything I offer is meant to help you feel safe, empowered, and deeply supported. This isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you remember who you are beneath the layers of survival and self-protection.

My Approach

My approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we come back to the body—gently, slowly, and with deep compassion. I combine somatic therapy, breathwork, trauma-informed practices, and nervous system regulation to support women and teens in reconnecting with themselves from the inside out.

Rather than focusing only on thoughts or symptoms, I guide you in tuning into your body’s wisdom—because our bodies carry the imprints of what we’ve survived, and also the map toward what’s possible. Whether you’re holding trauma, self-doubt, or a disconnection from your body, we’ll move at your pace to rebuild safety, self-trust, and emotional resilience.

My work is:

Body-based: We listen to what your body is telling us—through breath, sensation, posture, and movement.

  1. Compassionate & trauma-informed: You’ll never be rushed or pushed. Consent, pacing, and emotional safety are core to everything I do.

  2. Empowering: You already hold the wisdom—my role is to help you access it, feel it, and trust it.

  3. Relational & collaborative: Healing happens in relationship. We’ll work together in a space where you are fully seen and supported.

  4. Creative & flexible: We might use breathwork, guided movement, parts work, narrative exploration, or grounding practices—whatever helps you feel most connected.

  5. Playful & Heart-Led: I bring warmth, curiosity, and a love for creating ease and joy in the process—even when the work is deep.
